In our Mom’s group, we encourage the women to live out the truth that they are enough and equipped to pursue their dreams. One day at one of our weekly meetings, a mom broke down and said, ‘I am not enough. I can not be the Mom and the dad.’ At that moment, everyone surrounded her and said ‘that she was enough.

A few months later at a lunch between our executive director and Debe Dohrer the jewelry line was born.

After hearing this story Debe went back to her studio and created the beautiful necklace with the words ‘ I AM ENOUGH’ stamped in clay. Her plan was to develop the foundation and teach the moms group how to make the bracelets and necklaces.

What started as a moment of feeling defeated, grew into a campaign to not only empower moms but also make a lasting change.

You can make a donation of $60 for the bracelet and $120 for the necklace. All of the proceeds go to a fund for down payments for single mothers to purchase a home. This step of empowerment can help break the cycle of decades of inequalities black mothers have faced.
