MOBILE FOOD

The neighborhoods we serve are in a food deserts that lacks affordable and high-quality fresh food. Traveling by foot or bus to grocery stores in neighboring communities is difficult. Our partnerships with Second Harvest, Whole Foods, Sprouts Farmers Market, Trader Joe’s, Costco, Aldi, Kroger, and Turnip Truck, allow us to recover and distribute food in the community a combined seven days per week through mobile food sites. Our food-related ministries are typically the first time someone encounters Dream Streets as an organization allowing us to invite them to participate in our additional programs, all to protect and empower.

Look for the Dream Streets Food Truck!

GROCERY STORE PARTNERS

Our partnerships with Second Harvest, Whole Foods, Sprouts Farmers Market, Trader Joe’s, Kroger, Costco, Aldi, and Turnip Truck, allow us to recover and distribute food in the community a combined seven days per week through nine mobile food sites.

It takes 40+ volunteers a week to run Dream Streets food sites. Volunteers rescue over 500,000 pounds of fresh groceries annually from our partner stores in Davidson county to distribute via refrigerated box trucks to over 40,000 households across under-served areas of 37209 and 37208 zip codes.
