MOBILE FOOD

The neighborhoods we serve are in a food desert that lacks affordable and high-quality fresh food. Traveling by foot or bus to grocery stores in neighboring communities is difficult. Our partnerships with Second Harvest, Whole Foods, Sprouts Farmers Market, Trader Joe’s, Costco, Aldi, and Turnip Truck, allow us to recover and distribute food in the community a combined seven days per week through mobile food sites. Our food-related ministries are typically the first time someone encounters Dream Streets as an organization allowing us to invite them to participate in our additional programs, all to protect and empower.
